Minnesota Trade Careers is licensed as a private career school with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 136A.821 to 136A.832. Licensure is not an endorsement of the institution. Credits earned may not transfer to all other institutions.

Licensure Requirements
HVAC technicians in Minnesota may need to obtain additional licenses or certifications depending on the type of work performed. Common requirements include:
- EPA Section 608 Certification (for handling refrigerants)
- State contractor license (for independent contractors)
- Local permits may be required for certain installations
Our program prepares students for the EPA 608 certification exam. Students are responsible for meeting any additional state or local licensing requirements.
Refund Policy Summary
- 100% refund if cancellation occurs before the first day of class
- Prorated refund based on percentage of program completed (up to 60%)
- No refund after 60% of the program has been completed
- Registration fee ($100) is non-refundable after the first day of class

Financial Aid Disclosure
